VI. TARGET | Wild Fable
TARGET | Wild Fable | 2018
intro
While working as a product development assistant, I also filed in the junior designer vacancy to design the launch jewelry collection for Target’s new junior line: Wild Fable.
The collection is categorized into four personas: edgy street, modern minimalist, romantic feminine, and boho feminine. The designs captured each of these aesthetics with 90’s influences from the apparel line. The robust collection included earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and multipacks. I reported to the Director of Product Development and collaborated closely with the Senior Sales Director to:
Assist with consumer-specific trend research.
Design and develop 100+ styles:
Working directly with in-house sample makers to create high fidelity samples.
Creating detailed tech packs to send to overseas factory.
Merchandise the collection for Target’s sign-off.
Wild Fable shipped online and in-store nationwide in Summer 2018.
